OUR MISSION

WE PLAN TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

WSORC was established to increase the presence and availability of researchers in Honduras to work with whale sharks. We also provide a strong platform for aspiring Marine Biologists to learn from and help kick-start their careers in Marine Conservation.

The Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Center organizes regular Ocean Safaris, aiming to monitor whale sharks and other species around Utila.
