In addition to the launch of our Volunteer Education Programs and Internship opportunities for 2014, WSORC is broadening our horizons and looking to address one of our main objectives which is to facilitate scientific research in Honduran waters. To achieve this we are welcoming University undergraduates, Masters and PhD students who are looking for organizations that are willing and able to facilitate and support their research projects abroad.
WSORC is affiliated with the Bay Islands College of Diving and the Utila Lodge Resort. As a result, we have access to a whole host of resources which could facilitate a variety of marine and terrestrial research projects on the island. When dealing with the natural environment the power of local knowledge is extremely valuable. Our team of experienced and well connected staff can help put you in touch with the right sources of information to help accomplish your specific research needs.
Students and professors with specific research projects in mind are invited to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the potential for research opportunities and collaborations.
WSORC can also provide assistance, advice, and resources for international researchers seeking in-country support for personal research projects. For more information please contact email@example.com.
